What is TinkerCAD?

Tinkercad is an easy-to-use, online 3D design and modeling tool. In this class, kids will learn how to create 3D models by using Tinkercad’s features to design objects, from simple shapes to more complex creations.

What age group is this course suitable for?

This course is designed for kids between the ages of 8 and 10, but older or younger children can also enjoy it depending on their learning level.

What do I need to get started with TinkerCAD?

Tinkercad is an online tool, so all your child needs is a computer with an internet connection and a web browser. For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop rather than a tablet or mobile device.

Will my child be able to create their own projects?

Yes! Throughout the course, your child will work on hands-on projects, creating their own 3D models using the Tinkercad platform. By the end of the course, they’ll have a variety of completed projects that showcase their skills.
