Kids will learn to build fun and exciting 3D models from Scratch using Autodesk's TinkerCAD.

TinkerCad is a free, browser-based, 3D modeling system created by Autodesk, Inc. It uses the idea of constructive solid geometry where complex structures can be created by adding and subtracting other basic shape building blocks. Kids and teens alike find TinkerCad’s interface intuitive to create complex structures like toys, vehicles, and buildings. Create your own structures and print them with a 3D printer for your personal use!

In this course, kids will work on:

What age group is this course suitable for?

This course is designed for kids between the ages of 8 and 10, but older or younger children can also enjoy it depending on their learning level.

What do I need to get started with TinkerCAD?

Tinkercad is an online tool, so all your child needs is a computer with an internet connection and a web browser. For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop rather than a tablet or mobile device.

Will my child be able to create their own projects?

Yes! Throughout the course, your child will work on hands-on projects, creating their own 3D models using the Tinkercad platform. By the end of the course, they’ll have a variety of completed projects that showcase their skills. They’ll be able to design everything from simple shapes to fun objects like keychains, toys, or even prototypes for future inventions.
